Thank you CTT for giving me a new project to try! The Plasticville Telegraph Poles look great!

Somebody asked about The Torpedo this week, here's mine charging up-grade:

The Broadway blows through while a New York Central freight sits in the hole:

And the fireman breathes a sigh of relief!

shutterly seems to be one giant pain in the butt. On a number of forums, there seems to be some chanting or incense burning requirement in order to display photos.

Here are yours KJ - nice pix, by the way

Thanks Frank! I really wanted to credit CTT for their excelllent article on detail painting Plasticville Telephone Poles. It's easy and fun. Heck, I did it while watching a ballgame on TV!

I'd love to know what Spank-bird is doing with his Shutterfly that I'm not. It seems to work for him everytime. Maybe it's that I'm using a Mac/Safari?

This new software and Mac's don't mix too well.

Jon, I think you just hit the nail on the head. The CTT forum does have some issues with Mac's. I don't belive it is your Mac or Shutterfly. BTW, here at home I use an older Compaq with ME windows.

Kooljock1 - ON the mac I have at home, I had to switch to Firefox to get this forum to work OK.

I think I recall your photos not showing up on the model train journal forum using shutterfly as well. I cut and pasted your post contents from OGR.

Frank the problem with posting pics on the Model Train Journal from Shutterfly is MTJ sofware cannot read the scrip that Shutterfly uses. Shutterfly works well on CTT, OGR and The Gauge forums.

Also with Shutterfly, you do not have to resize your pics, nor is there a 5 pic posting per day limit. And if you wish to order prints, you can. And they even give you TWO web pages free.

Well, copy and paste worked for me. You just have to have both webpages opened at the same time. This is the section of the layout that I am working on.

I seem to recall trying to use it - not sure where - and the properties didn't include an extension or somethign strange. I was using the 2and2.net service, but they appear to have discontinued the service.

Above – The waterfall mist cools the folks in Castle Canyon.

Above – It’s time for grilled dogs and medicinal moonshine in oak barrels.

Above – It’s a daring act for a tough crowd at Spitwater Hotel.

Above – Is that a lantern glowing or an angel on standby?

Above – Ouch! Squash! Engine #3 passes by.

Above – Wait. The crowd cheers! Smoke stack Sally points to four o’clock

Yes, that pesky Wink [;)] Ghost of Christmases past did indeed come again last night.  He told me to remember the visit because, he said, IF Wink [;)] there's another visit we'll be moving on up.

After I scan, store, and post the my photos (film prints) they usually seem dark.  I tried a photo editor to lighten them up. Let's see how they come out.  HMM, not bad - I could BARELY see the houses, etc. before.  Funny, the detail's obviously there but the scanning process darkens it and you think you've lost it.

My lasting memory of 2001 I guess:

Great pics everyone. It appears that the AEC has been rather busy today.

First a load of radioactive waste being hauled for disposal.

Then a little while later a string of boxcars passes by.

Great pictures again this week, no I did not make enough progress to post any pictures this week.  Maybe next week (as the Phila. Eagles were heard to say).
