Lionel TMCC Legacy II Question

I was flipping through the new catalog and I was reading up on TMCC II and I was trying to figure out if this system includes the command base with the remote in one unit? Also does it use the same cables if you want to run a non TMCC engine. Kinda confusing

Not working for Lionel I'll answer the questions as I see it in the catalog...

The Handheld unit and Command Base/ recharger are part of a package.  They come together for the price quoted.  Additional handhelds and chargers only are available as a unit.

As far as running non command engines, if you are using TPC then I do not believe anything else is required.  If you are using a Powermaster, from what I understand a Legacy Powermaster Bridge (whatever that is) is needed.
