Trainz - Anyone else had problems with service from them?
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, June 10, 2006 8:18 PM
Good evening,

I pre-ordered an item from them back at the beginning of March for a Lionel Engine that was supposed to be out in May. I have sent them emails for the past few days (I called them on Friday, never heard back from them) and I keep getting an error message on my emails "delayed".

Does anyone know if they are still operating? Has anyone else had a troubling experience with them? I am not here to throw them under the F7, but I am concerned that they have taken off with my order.

Thanks,

I have purchased several items from them and never had a problem. Just guessing that Lionel is late shipping the engine. Have you checked at customer service on Lionels web site to see if the item has shipped?

If you look at the banner ad on the right side of this page they are still advertising there as well.....

Have bought a bunch of stuff from them off ebay, and only had one minor problem. I won multiple auctions and they missed shipping one item. Contacted them, and once they found it, they shipped it right out.

I would agree that Lionel is probably a little late getting the product out to dealers. Have you seen it on anyone's shelf?

I'm using FireFox, there are no ads!

I opened the window w/ IE, the page is filled with ads I've never seen!

As others have suggested check the Lionel Item # against the shipping schedule on the Lionel web site. [:o)]

I've also purchased a few e-bay items from them without problem.
