Trolleys a hit in Fort Smith!

Thanks, all, for the warm welcome!

The show in Fort Smith was a great success, and I even made it into the paper:

The kids liked the trolleys, and I received several requests for MTH's web address. (grin)

In addition, the FSTM had a Coca-Cola Birney (by Bowser) on display (see center of photo) which they'd never run. A little cleaning of the brass wheels, a few drops of 3-in-1 and the little beggar was up and buzzing about the figure-8.

All in all, a fine time had by all.

VTY,

Nice job, MMM! Any exposure for trains is good, but more exposure for trolleys is even better (I'm a big-time trolley enthusiast in O and Large Scale). My next garden railroad will be almost exclusively a trolley line--already have the cars and track (although I may convert to stainless steel); now I just need the garden.

Looks good MMM - congratulations on your picture in the paper. I was curious how the open house had gone.
