Circuit Breaker Loght does not work

I just bought a previously owned celebration ZW with 2 180 v bricks. I've noticed when operating my trains, when the circuit braker trips the light does not come on. I attempted to recalibrate per the manual instructions, but there is no flashing light. Can any one tell me if this is a user friendly repair of the red light, or do I need to sent it to a repair shop? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it was a post-war ZW all you would need to do is unscrew the lens cover over the red light and replace the light bulb. Is it possible to take the light bulb out of the newer ZW's,
I can't tell you. I try to stay clear of newer equipment like the new ZW's, don't act like the old ones and too much hassle to get Lionel to warrenty anything these days.

Did you press the red button on the brick and flip the toggle switch on the brick?

Thanks for the reply! I did unplug the bricks and reset the control box and the red light did fla***o indicate a system reset. However, in the event of a derailment, the red light does not come on, the circuit breaker just trips. other than this little quirk, the zw is fine to operate!

The red light on the newer ZW with the bricks is only an indicator for the signal of the cab 1 is getting through. There is nothing wrong with it. The bricks will trip if there is a derailment.
Just reset the red button and flip the switch.
