I have Lionel loco No.242 and No.1061 I would like to change from forward/reverse to forward-neutral-reverse . Is this something that can be done and by whom. Anything would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello Pastime! Both Engines can be converted. However, Both Motors in the 242 & 1061 would have to be changed over to ones used in the 2034 which had a forward-neutral-reverse sequence. Try Dr.Tinker's Website as he should be able to help you out on this one. Take Care.
