Hi all,
A few pics of our layout as promised. Its great just to be able to run the
train after all the trouble with 50Hz.
In the third pic you can see the pure sine inverter and the battery borrowed
from my '81 DeLorean. I have a DC power supply on order to replace
the battery.

Best Regards
Nick

Good morning train fans

Built a repair station with some leftovers from a job....

Mrs PE cracked up when she saw the Lionel ZW emblems on the doors.....

Maybe I should ship this to Jerrylovestrains for his repair business

And lastly a new Engine joins the roster.... Maybe Colin can identify it for all ...He's pretty good at that....Tim

I haven't posted anything in quite a while. Just haven't had much time to make real progress on the layout. Still lots of plywood and basement walls. I did, however, get started on my mountain and tunnel. As soon as the rest of the Sculptamold gets here, I can finish it.

As you can tell, the table and the backdrop still need finishing work, but at least the wine is properly stored underneath. When I don't come back from the basement for several hours, my wife never knows whether I am running trains or tasting wine. Usually both.

One project that did get completed was this grocery truck. I am trying to model the mountains of Colorado, specifically Grand and Routt counties, where my family is from. I figured that I needed something local, so I bought the truck on eBay, repainted it, and then added my own decals. It turned out pretty nicely, better in fact than many of my earlier custom projects. King Soopers, BTW, is a grocery chain in Colorado.

It was a VERY BIG crowd at The Vermont Rails Train Show at The Champlain Valley Exposition yesterday! Here folks stop to watch our little home-made display layout:

Here's a home-made "disappering train" display:

We kept the trains rolling until after closing!

Meanwhile things are quiet at home:
