On Ebay: Marx Prototype Popeye Vanderbilt & A Funny Description

These are a couple of intersting auctions I've come across on ebay and thought had to be shared.

First, here's a prototype for a Marx Commodore Vanderbilt that has Popeye flying overhead in an airplane. Right now, it's at $565.95 with less than 3 hours to go. You certainly couldn't run it on a layout with tunnels!

Secondly, if you want a laugh, check out this Hornby left hand switch. I'll let this one speak for itself.

The Marx is cool, but that second one is the funniest thing I've ever seen on ebay! [(-D]

We'll have to see if Groucho makes a bid for the Marx-Popeye engine. Like Popeye would say "Well, blow me down" aah-ga-ga-ga-ga-ga![8D][;)]

The Popeye prototype certainly got bid up toward the end. $1225!

Two hours and twenty minutes to go on the angry girlfriend's switch and still no takers at 50p, though.
