WIRES AND SC-2
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, February 12, 2006 8:52 AM
Okay, the novice finally went out yesterday and bought the TMCC controls, some switches, and the SC-2. Question - what type of wire is everyone buying to wire the switches to the SC-2, something that is available at home depot? Also, can you wire uncoupling sections to the SC-2 and will they work with the CAB-1 or not?

I've used speaker wire because it is avaialble in different gauges, is stranded so it is flexible and is identified for polarity purposes. Only drawback for use with switches are you would normally like to have a third wire.

If you look in the box the SC-2 was packed with these is a 36 page instruction manual. Page 35 shows how to wire up the uncoupler section.
