Tender Glued Shut!!

Hello, I have a question about removing "Crazy Glue". I have just obtained a 6466W tender in very good condition, so I don't want to destroy the shell with solvents. Someone has tried gluing the hand rails in place and in doing so, the glue ran quite a ways between the shell and frame.
The whistle blows good and strong but the insulation on the wiring is cracked and will be shorting out, so I want to be able to replace the wires.
Any suggestions? Glue remover is out, it attacks plastics.
Dremel with cutoff wheel? Mild heat?

I am a user with mostly postwar Lionel & Marx with a 12 x 10 L layout.

Although crazy glue (CA) is strong stuff, I've usually been able to get pieces apart by gently prying them. I"ve also used a sharp x-acto blade to gently score the glue first, then pry.
This usually works for me.

I second Mike's suggestion of using an Exacto knife blade. Run it around the entire perimeter of the shell.

If you can get one part free, you work from there and very carefully start wiping with a Q-tip moistened in acetone. Acetone will free most CAs with a little bit of assistance. In small amounts, it shouldn't hurt the paint, although I certainly wouldn't go overboard.

Be careful with the acetone, it will attack plastic.

Thank you all for the great suggestions. I was just not thinking of the most obvious and simplest.

I have some hypodermics from the printer ink kits, maybe I can use this to insert the acetone before it attacks the cylinder. If it does, I have lots of q-tips and toothpicks.
