Tom, as usual, nice photos. The last one needs to be fixed. The tender looks weird on the new steamer though. I am guessing that the tender body is LIONEL?

Locomotive purchased by our local Historical Society with front of boiler and smoke stack primed and reinstalled. Had to remove for move from a musuem in Central Wisconsin. Took two semi-trailers to get the loco here to Central Wisconsin. One had the chassis and the other had the boiler.

Tender from another location.

Caboose purchased by local businessman and donated to Historical Society who then restored it.

Sign showing progress of fund raising. Estimate $75,000.00 needed to be raised for project.

Jonadel, very nice photos, I do like the Christmas train a lot. Is the engine in the first photo an old Lionel steamer, or is it a newer hudson?

Ouch! Battery damage does a number on this postwar F3 unit, but not to worry. We have a trained professional overseeing the damages[:)][:D][;)].

Colin--

That loco is a MTH Mohawk--Railking. It was one of my first steamers, a great runner and smokes like a champ. One of my favorites.

Not much happening around here Friday, so I decided to get PLASTERED ,the hardshell kind ,that is. Working my way around the layout, still long way to go .

Also got some Williams Amtrak cars yesterday. Running them on the hanging layout.

Enjoy...Tim

RS-3 No. 721 waits on the Prattville spur as a GM&O passenger train heads south on the mainline.

An overview of my "Christmas in Dixie" layout - a work in progress. The Alco FA-2 and passenger cars are Williams.

A view down Main Street. More lights, figures, details, etc. to be added as is a Fire Station and Sleigh Factory.

Well I finally found the ambition to put in some permanent roads downtown, and against my best judgment to do so before I have all the buildings in place. But I just got tired of looking at it and needed to get something done. So now I have a big empty irregular shaped lot for sale, and will either put a gas station on the corner or scratch another building to fill the entire space.
Merry Christmas To All!

Christmas 2005 layout- please ignore the absence of train cars as I hadn't dug them out of the boxes yet when I took these pictures:

Overall to get the perspective of where things are at:

The Park Area:

The female in white is a model I had made of my daughter who is a pharmacist. The female in greenish is a model of my daughter-in-law who is a dental hygienist - it's hard to tell in this photo but she is "greeting" a man with a toothache ! The drug store sign and toothpaste sign are by Miller.

Colin--

I'm not exactly sure what I paid but it was either $275 or $300 at a meet and it was new, PS2. Too long ago for my short term memory[:)]

Here's a couple more pics.
