Your first train set

The first set I had was a Southern set and a Great Northern set which we purchased both at the same time. It was O Scale. Together, they costed upwards of $700!! Yes, that is why I got out of O Scale. LOL

True to tradition, my first train set was a Lionel. I stil have the loco, rolling stock,and and the track and transformer,but they are lost in the train boxes
somewhere.
