I saw an older Williams Pennsylvania F7 diesel in the Tuscan color but it did not have the gold stripes. Is this correct ?

In a word, yes.

PRR had many combinations of livery for their F7's. Routes and types of
passenger cars factored in back in the days when things like this were important to the passenger railroads .......

Folks:

I'm not sure that the PRR actually rostered any EMD F unit in Tuscan paint without some form of striping whether the thin pin stripes or the single broad stripe that was used later. In the years leading up to the merger with the NYC the Pennsy used a very simple livery without stripes or the road name - but I think that was well after the last F's were acquired.

I'm a great fan of Williams - great engines at a great value but sometimes they are not always completely faithful to prototype paint and numbering schemes. I'm guessing your "stripeless" F is one of these instances.

joncoy.... In answer to your question about Williams parts...
I had to order new cast truck sides, for a diesel that I dropped on the basement floor. I had the new ones in 3 days. Needed a spring for a coupler on my
switcher and it took 3 days also. I am satisfied with their parts supply.

3pm to 5pm, on certain days.
