i have a old atlantic coast line hudson engine #1800 and tender and the sound wont work. when i put the tender on the tracks and use my cw-80 transformer everything in that block jumps to full power but when i use my MRC the sound doesn't work but i have control of the power. could somebody please help me with this?

What MRC transformer do you have?

it is a ac power pack i don't know how many amps it is outputting but i think it is alot.

I have the same problem with a recently acquired Lionel N&W J. I'm using a MRC Tech II.
