FINALLY!
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, June 2, 2005 9:35 AM
I now have my o-27 guage track and trains. Now, I need some help, call it a constest if you will. I need help coming up with a track layout for a 4' x 12' area. The only requirements I really want is to leave room for a K-line superstreet dogbone or something of that nature, I just think moving cars will be cool.

once you get there, go to the main layout index, there are dozens of layouts in all sizes

Problem with Thor is that he uses different color to differentiate type of track. That is a problem because I am color blind.

All I see is grey, with some grey boxes with what could be grey buttons. Also, the ones that I would like to fit on my board, have both O and O-27 track on Thor's blueprints, says that o is in brown or something like that, and I can't see a difference. Thanks for being a smartass though.

Kdawg,

Try downloading RailModeller's free sample track plan software. I think you will find it extremely easy to work with. The tracks are all the same color (black) so you'd just be dealing with black and white.

Good luck,

Jim

Kdawg, if you would like to let me know which of Thor's layouts you are interested in, I would be happy to try to describe the location of the O sections. Actually, the contrast between the dark red and the gray that he uses is not very good even if one is not color blind.

Better yet, this uses all o 27, however, i could use a bit of help, I am looking to add some length bringing it up to a 4 x 12 board, any help on what i can add to make this work is appreciated.
