Flat Car Loads

How well do the 1/50 die cast construction vehicles fit the scale sized flats?[%-)]

After initially posting this question I found a web site selling die cast toys that included in the description and the dimensions. Unfortunately it appears that the 1:50 scale stuff is to wide. Norscot has some really nice looking construction equipment in military camo paint that would have been great on a series of flats. [:(] What about 1:64?

I agree with Dave [;)], 1:50 is smaller than 1:48. Do remember that many tanks are "wide load" and hang over the sides of the cars.

I've been disappointed to find that scale sharks don't fit on semi-scale flatcars.
