Good morning all! New to the forum, not new to post war Lionel. Is it possible (or even advisable) to use the MTH DCS Remote Commander with a post war ZW 275 watt transformer? I have one MTH Subway set, and I want to access all the functions. I have read some conflicting write ups stating. Don't use a ZW with Proto sound (the mth manual states that they are compatible). I have an MRC Dual power transformer that will run the MTH set but the button operation is erratic.I also have a Lionel CW 80 which works, but I can't get all the announcements or sound functions. Or should I just get an MTH Z-500 or 750 series transformer and have a dedicated route for my proto sound subway? Thank you in advance!
