I spotted a 512 standard gauge flat car with a well....I'm not sure what kind of can it was on top mimicking a tank car.  Unfortunately the extra holes drilled in the legitimate car body combined with the high price tag kept me from buying it.

lionelsoni

It's in the news here that a woman bought a 2000-year-old Roman statue in good condition and worth hundreds of thousands of dollars at a Goodwill here in Austin for $35.

So I heard!

For what it's worth whenever I see a Goodwill or any thrift store and I've got the time I'll go in for a look-around.  Not that I'm looking to score big like the woman who found that Roman artifact but you never know, do you?

have  found some very handy "tools of the trade" and other things I've put to good use. In one thrift shop I found an 18th Century wine decanter for $20!   Haven't found any good toy trains yet but it can happen!

Also looks like it might be a good match for the Plasticville jets.

A friend of mine had one.  She traded a complete Pee Wee's Playhouse playset for it.
