As of Superwarp1,
the median age is 37, with most responders between 40 and 58.5. The youngest is 14, and the oldest is 75.

gwarrin,
I currently have a box-and-whiskers plot of both the OGR and CTT forum, one above the other, that are suprisingly alike. I'll download and post that once I get more data. I'll also do the bell curve.

No "logans run" references here.I would happily accept donations from anyone who is "ageing out" of the hobby.

Age is relative. Let us look at one major common denominator, we all like toy trains. All men are boys etc, with a few of the ladies in the hobby along the way. Toy trains are the greatest toy ever invented. I know ,for at 73 ,I have been playing with them since age 6. You do the math!
