Happy November folks!

Sunny. Hard freeze last night. Birdbath frozen solid. 50 today!

Coffee and newapers so far this am.

Gas company has been combing the alleys last couple of days looking for damaged meters from the tornado. Looks like they are excavating one at my neighbor's across the alley.

Regards, Roy

Good Morning,

Thanks for putting the new pot on RT, Chief is probably out dragging his new buck around somewhere.

Only 5 fires in So Cal this morning, that's good.  The biggest one is out near Santa Paula, beautiful area!

I've started working on Chris' old room, bringing in from a high school kid's room to a guest room.  Anyway it still had the popcorn ceiling, so first taking that down.  Also, has a ceiling fan and track lighting.  Took track lighting down, and couldn't get the ceiling fan lights to work.  Had the fan and track lights on seperate wall switches.  Was trying to figure out why the fan lights were not working, 3 bulbs all burned out, not likely.  Did I do something when I took the track down?  Spent a day thinking about what the problem was...... loose wire in the fan assy, bad pull chain switch?  hmmm.  Was going to started detailed trouble shooting yesterday.  THEN while having morning coffee, thought, MAYBE the remote control has the lights turned off!  Then to find the remote!  Finally found one and as soon as I pushed the light button, the lights immediately came on!!  Sure glad I thought about that before I spent a day tracing wires and troubleshooting in the attic!

We did not have ANY trick or treaters, not unusual.

The neighbors to our west had their trees trimmed, so our place sticks out like a sore thumb!  Looks so strange with all the trees trimmed on both sides!  Very bright when the sun comes up.  Took most of the day cleaning up the backyard and pool from all the leaves and twigs from the winds and tree trimmings.  Told Kay, we bought a small chain saw last spring, and now I don't have anything to use it on.

Take care all, and be safe!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Don
