KRM...And at that price it may have been over bid...
But with a second price Vickery auction like eBay, it takes two bidders within one increment to get the closing up so high.

Good morning all,
I usually do not go after high dollar items unless it is something I really really want and I have the money for it. The last example was an IVES 1772 gondola, which was a Lionel 512 with an IVES nameplate and number. The 512 normally goes for $40 or $50 (or less). The 1772 was a bit more. Sometimes I have to be patient. Always liked the BN 1552 set and finally found one at a good price at a TCA meet. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,
