After years of having to make do with a small roundy/round in the corner of the basement of our old house, we have finally completed the move to new digs. With a full finished rec room that has been officialy designated my man-cave. This week I started on the benchwork for a 6ft x 15ft Flyer layout.

With the framework and sub-base completed I will be spending the next couple of weeks tweaking my track plan, as I consider how best to proceed. Could go foam, could go hardshell. I have worked with both in the past. I expect it will be several months before I actually get the trains up and running.
I have figured out what is wrong with my brain! On the left side nothing works right, and on the right side there is nothing left!
