1835E wiring for lights
Posted by yagottaloveit on Saturday, January 2, 2016 8:44 AM

I recently aquired an 1835E Standard gauge engine.  everything works properly except the lights.  When i removed the engine top the power source wire to the lights is disconnected (assuming the ground is the chassis).  Where do i re-solder or connect this wire

I know theres a lot of wires going to the E-unit but a lot go there so follow the wire from the middle pick-up up to where it connects to the e-unit and thats where you hook on to it

The 1835E is considered a cheapened version of the 385E, so the wiring would be the same.  Here is a link to Olsens Toy Train Library, showing the wiring for the 385E, and the 1835E would be the same wiring.
