Phasing an RW and CW40
Posted by tinplatacis on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 10:42 AM

I have a rather elaborate christmas layout planned for this year, and need to phase 2 transformers. These are the ones I have available, is there any feasible way to phase them?

Yes, RW common "A" connected to CW40 common black "U".  With both throttles at mid setting, orient RW plug in wall outlet to provide the lower voltage reading between RW "U" and CW40 red "A" using a 18 volt bulb and VOM/voltmeter connected across the two.
