I have an opportunity to purchase a "new" TMCC Torpedo. Question is: Am I taking a chance in buying a 16 year old locomotive? I realize it will have to be thoroughly lubricated before placing it into service.
You take a "risk" whenever you buy a used locomotive, but it's not a big risk. Most of my stuff has been purchased used.
I should have said that it is new, never out of the box or run.
