Wiring Mighty Sound of Steam plug
Posted by Capt.Herp on Monday, February 4, 2013 11:45 AM

I recently got a Lionel 785 Hudson with the Mighty Sound of Steam.  I know it works, but what I need to know is the soldering contact points to attach the three-hole plug to the engine (brushes, field wire, etc.).  If anyone can tell me which wire goes where I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks

The exploded view diagram shows the plug goes to the motor. Looks like the 2 outside wires go to the respective brush holders, and the center wire goes to the field winding lug.
