"o" Gauge A/F 3211 Caboose
Posted by archman on Monday, January 21, 2013 11:52 AM

Hello to all.  I need your help please.  I have been trying to restore some A/F (what I think to be,) #3211 cabooses that are illuminated.  I need a resource for the shoe contactor, I think? and the light assembly!  Also I need a resource for the  windows that have the brass finished trim.   Is there a way to upload pictures that show what I am talking about.  Thanks, Archie

Yes there are several ways. I use a Shutterfly account, they are free. I upload a picture into a Shutterfly folder and then open the picture in Shutterfly by double clicking on it. Then I right click on the picture and copy, then in the post text just paste. It works for me.Very easy.  Many use  Photobucket but I don't know how that works.

There are many ways to upload pictures. Shutterfly is one, I use Photobucket. They are all free. All you have to do is create an account and there you go.

As for the electric pickup on the American Flyer 3211. I believe it should have a roller pickup as opposed to the shoe pickup.

I just fond this on ebay. Every now and then you might see parts for this on ebay. I will let you know if I can find some sites for parts.

Good luck and please keep us posted on your progress.

Sorry for the small size pic but I just copied and pasted from ebay. There are many listed now.

Kev - If I'm not correct please tell me. But when I post from photobucket I can enlarge the pic once it's posted by double clicking on the posted pic, and it doubles the size. From shutterfly it doesn't have this option?
