Lionel 736 roller question
Posted by arkady on Thursday, November 8, 2012 9:41 AM

Yesterday, I bought a Lionel 736 locomotive (great engine, by the way).  I haven't completely disassembled it yet, but I can see it has the single-screw pickup assembly.  Is the double-screw assembly (with appropriate screws, of course) a drop-in replacement?  Or could it only be done by drilling new holes?

Thanks in advance.

No, you'd need the earlier chassis to use the double-screw collector assembly.

That's what I figured.  Thanks.
