I recently got my new Lionel SD40-2s in the CNW version, a powered and a dummy. I noticed 2 things. First, the front of the battery boxes are painted green. Why they did this is beyond me. It gives the engine a goofy checkerboard look. This has never been done by Lionel (or CNW for that matter) in the past.That being said, the units also have a yellow line right through the engineer side of the cab, right below the CNW logo, like it was not masked incorrectly. It looks horrible. The opposite side however looks fine. I was wondering if there are any other CNW units like this, or are they all like this?
