I was setting up my gg1 to run and turned the power on. It started doing it 's normal routine with the voices and sounds then I heard a pop and smoke coming out of the cab. Temp in my garage was 60 plus so that shouldn't have been a problem. Long story short is that it's now deader than a hammer.
I ran other locos to make sure the transformer wasn't acting up with power surges or abnormalitiesand evreything was fine.
Question is, How bad is it and has anyone else experienced anything like this ?
