turntable kits/plans
Posted by jpmct on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 9:32 PM

Has anyone seen some good plans or kits for building a turntable ("O" gauge)?  I have an indexer and would like to begin planning to build the turntable and pit.

Atlas sells them (atlasrr.com) and there are a few for sale on ebay.  Don't know where, but I have seen plans, too.  Try a 'search' with you favorite search engine.

Thanks wyomingscout.  I checked the Atlas and the one they show is kind of a surface turntable.  I was looking for one with a pit.  Bowser had them but stopped making them.  Ross has them, but it looks like they come with a motor.  I'll look on e-bay like you suggested.  Maybe I can find a plan, too.

Al Zamorski from Millhouse River Studios has an exquisite all aluminum turntable and pit:.
