Can you help me identify a train
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, August 7, 2004 6:26 PM
I have a toy train that I got when I was a Kind. May be 20 year ago or so. Anyways, I been trying to find out more about it.. I know a pic would be so much easyer but I do not have a digital camera. Anyways, it is a 5 piece set , One train, 3 cars and the controller. It is a Life like train with the year 1776 on the train and Spirit of 76 on the Caboose. the 2 other cars are one light blue with the "state of Maryland" and the coal car is tan " state of Pennsylvania" The Controller is blue with white writing and at the top is says "Hobby Transforumer LL CAT NO T-615" The engin is white with a blue strip with stars at the bottom and red and white strips at the top. It also looks like it has a presidental seal in the middle of the side of the engine. and a US flag under the engineers window. i do not know much about them and any info or links would be helpfull. thanks

This is an HO bicentennial set. Other cars for the original 13 colonies were probably sold seperately. Beyond that I'm not sure what to say. Generally things like that are produced in such quantities that they end up having little collectable value. Perhaps a Google search will turn up something. Lifelike Bicentennial HO train.
