Had a great time at the museum last friday til I ran out of gas and had to pack-up and head home.

The most fun for the kids of all ages was when I had the Missle Launch Vehicle out doing it's thing.

Even when they knew what was going to happen some of the kids and parents would jump. Laugh

I have not bought much Lionel lately but did pick-up this little guy at April York. A great runner with TMCC, zero switch stalls through my Gargraves & Ross switches.

They run good and mine has no problems crawling over my Fastrack O-36 switches (manual). It's a fun little car to run around the track.

I was at Holly Beach last September during the NJ Fireman's Convention.  The owner is a retired firefighter, and has quite a nice selection.  I'll be back to peruse and possibly purchase this time around.

Nice photos today, guys...especially love the the track car.

Restored prewar AF 3112 with a unit train of Lionel "Baby Ruth" boxcars.

Bust Saturday at the local IGA

Marx Lumar loader with a string of Marx NYC side dump cars pulled by Marx WP 44 tonner. The eventual plan is to run a secondary spur off the freight house lead track to the scoop and have the cars loads be dumped into it  by the Marx sidedump unloader.

Nothing is more fairly distributed than common sense: no one thinks he needs more of it than he already has.

My Weaver Models DL&W scale Pocono arrived at the house yesterday.

I posed it with a short freight, a Weaver DL&W boxcar, and a Weaver DL&W caboose.
Very sweet.
