I realize this is an old post, but will chime in anyway. Newer lightweight cars may require some additional weight, say a roll of pennies, that might help with keeping a 153C working properly.
Do you actually use these track clips on your layout?
I looked at your video and did not see any train stop. (pause). Is it because you have the speeds balanced?
