Sunday Photo Fun 7-25-04
Posted by spankybird on Sunday, July 25, 2004 7:26 AM

This week we wanted to share some of smaller details of our layout. Like some of the wildlife we have. Some of this is Dept 56, some of it is Lemax and similar products. Most of which has been bought around the Christmas time.

[:D]I love the elk Spanky, hope he doesnt get hit by a fast freight. I finally got my coal loader and coal ramp installed. Also found a bullbozer to push up the excess coal at good old Wal Mart. Need to get the entire John Deere collection..........Tim

Good as always Tom. Tim, go to your local JD dealer. The problem I found at JD dealer is all he has is 1/64 and then larger scale. I checked JohnDeere.com and I think they have 1/32 and 1/64. Waiting to see the size of the tractors on my JD flat car and 4020's from MTH. Tim, you are coming right along with that one. [8D]

Tom, I sure hope your wildlife is in a no hunting area or the hunter I have in layout woods might consider a trip to Ohio. Just got home from taking the GD's to Dillsboro, NC (3 hr drive) for Thomas the Tank at the Great Smokey Mt. Railway. It was a good day but too short a train ride.

I post some photos next week.

Thanks all,

We would like to think that all of Spanky’s Cove is a posted No Hunting, but considering the time frame of the layout, being the mid 1920’s, hunting was a normal way of live and food on the table. So come on over and see if you can bag one.

Hi Rak,

Thanks for joining us on the Sunday Photo Fun. We have been fine and doing good.

Here is one more pic

We have been playing with a new digital camrecoder that my wife bought me. Check out how small it is.

You can download it to a VHS recorder or to your computer. I have been looking for a good place to host these on the web to share it with all.

Nice pics of the TCA meet.
