seayak - Interesting flag in the background.  What is its history?  Gordon fan?

Fifedog, yep a Gordon & Johnson fan.

My Dad was with MacArthurs Expeditionary Forces during WWII. The Japanese signature flag was captured by my Dad during the Battle of Guadalcanal when his company over ran a Japanese artillery position.
