Anyone know whats up with these? The Lionel website says shipped in Dec. 10, yet none have turned up (to my knowledge) . Neither Ro nor Grzyboski websites list them; also according to Lionel they are "sold out".

Where are they?

I would guess most are gone. They were a very small one time run. I THINK they shipped just before christmas.

EDIT: as an afterthought I called my friend that spends a lot of time at our favorite train store. He does not remember them coming in. If the store still has any for sale I will post their phone # here tomorrow...S.J.

According to our wholesaler Lionel did not make enough units to cover pre-orders.  Units were shipped to dealers on allocation.  We then shipped them on a "first ordered - first shipped".  The marketing geniuses at Lionel strike again.

Thanks for the info, men,  Sure is weird; I  thought by now some proud and lucky owner would have posted pictures of his prize, or started an "I got mine" thread. For something so limited that sold out so fast doesn't it seem like the C of Gs would be a hot topic?  Instead, an eerie silence hangs over Lionelville....
