Is it like 24 gauge or something reason asking ebay seller has it listed as that also has 3 amp. stranded wire was wondering if you can convert it to a certain gauge or not.

Twenty-nine AWG can carry about 1 ampere.  Twenty-three AWG can carry about  3 amperes.  I would ask the seller for the wire cross-sectional area in square millimeters, which is how it would be described in Australia.
