York, York, York
Posted by DMUinCT on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 3:03 PM

A week from today I head to York PA., and the twice a year adventure into the mega TCA Train Show at the York Fair Grounds.   8 halls 1,100 tables, 250 dealer booths, 14,000 members and guests.  The problem is I spend more than I sell.

As usual, I'll be in the "Blue Hall", Table E-14, anyone else coming?

Anyone interested, I'll have an album of photos from this Summers TCA Convention in Baltimore to look at.  Hot weather, great convention.

I am there for Thur & Fri. Not looking for anything special this trip, will be checking out the junk boxes underneath the tables.

Don, I'll be there as usual, looks like the CTT crowd is going to be a little slim this time.

I will stop by for a chat.

I will be there as will about 6 other folks from our local train club.

Jeff - I'll give you a shout when I get into town.

Regards, Roy

WISH I WAS going to be there!  Hope all you guys have a great time.

Don U, maybe IF you got rid of all your packing boxes you wouldn't have anyway of getting purchases back to the car.  Thus eliminating purchases.

For those of you flying into town.  How do you plan on getting your goodies home?  Do you bite the bullet and pay the baggage charges or hit the local UPS store?

UPS has a "Pack & Ship" set up in the lobby between the Blue and Silver Halls.

Stop by the Black Hall and see the modular layout. My 2 are the Drive-In movie, and the one with 2 diners, a flea market, and used car lot. And yes, I am more into the cars than the trains.

Being only about 50 minutes from York I don't have to worry about shipping or hotel rooms etc.  Looking forward to being there tomorrow and Friday!
