Acme Ice House and Platform - Cardstock Kit

I designed a simple cardstock model of a generic Ice Platform and Ice House to use with the short Lionel milk car and the 6472 reefer.  

    

      

Each platform can handle one car;  platforms can be lined up end-to-end to handle multiple cars.

Hi-railers might find it useful as a placeholder for an Atlas O or craftsman kit.

That's a neat ice platform and storage house, for the reefer cars.

I've seen photos. of ice platforms, like yours, icing a string of reefers.

Your use of the ice house, with it's long loading platform and reefers, is what I want to do, but I never saw a long ice platform for sale, until now.  I have the Lionel version, but it's platform is shorter, as you know.

Your ice platform really adds a lot of interest in a minimal amount of space.  Nicely done.

 Thank you for sharing this - I like working with cardstock. THe loading ramp looks nifty too.
