WILLIAMS LOCOS STARTING IN FWD
Posted by fritch1 on Thursday, February 11, 2010 10:41 AM

Is there any way to modify a Williams Locomotive to start in Netral rather then Forward.  I just crashed a brand new loco into another loco because of the Forward start.  I walked out of the train room without checking the locos for damage.  I'm afraid to look.

Thanks for your help.  My new loco fell off the table when it crashed. I'm trying to build  up the nerve to check it for damage.

IF IT WON'T COME LOOSE BY TAPPING ON IT, DON'T TRY TO FORCE IT. USE A BIGGER HAMMER.

I feel your frustration as I had a GP-9 take off at full throttle with a KW transformer and it knocked off several freight cars before stopping, I left the KW's handle on full output by mistake and plugged in my transformers.

Other than doing the circuit board change over always start a Williams at very low power.
