They were bought by Lionel. Mike Reagan is now the customer relations man at Lionel and it appears that much of the repair work from Lionel is not done at TAS.

At least that is my understanding.

 do you know of someplace to get their turbo smoke units

Me and my friend are  in need of a pair of fan driven smoke units for a pair of williams steam engines

I think I read somewhere TAS no longer sells to the public. If I'm not mistaken it was on there website.

TAS continues to supply TMCC components for the Lionel licensee's. They no longer sell direct to the public. You can get some of the work that TAS used to do through Weaver. http://www.weavermodels.com/page30.html
