Are TMCC legacy upgrades available, and if so, where I can find them. If TMCC Legacy upgrades are not available, does anyone know if Lionel plans to make them available to the public? Are MTH PS3 upgrades avalable too?
Lionel, (contrary to their original announcment) has recently stated that "Legacy" upgrades/conversion kits for prior Lionel products will not be available.
Reason: Cost. It would be necessary to replace all of the electronics AND the motor for such a conversion.
In the long run, it would be much cheaper to purchase a brand new Legacy locomotive.
