All Gauge Toy Train Meet

For anyone in SoCal on 6/20.  

The All Gauge Toy Train Association will be hosting its 24^th Annual Family OPEN HOUSE and TOY TRAIN MEET on Saturday June 20^th, 2009.  The event runs from 9:00 am till 2:00 pm with free admission and parking.  There will be over a hundred tables of toy trains and related accessories and operating toy train layouts.  Food and beverages will be available on site.  This will be the second biggest toy train event of the year in San Diego, only second to the train expo at Del Mar. It will be a unique opportunity to experience rarely seen toys and trains.  The event will take place at TORRY PINES CHRISTIAN CHURCH auditorium located at 8320 La Jolla Scenic Drive North, La Jolla, CA.  Directions and pictures of previous years events can be see on our website agtta.com. Our club, the All Gauge Toy Train Association – AGTTA – promotes the hobby and history of toy train operation and collecting.  Young and old alike always enjoy seeing trains of all sizes and the layout displays demonstrate the culmination of the skills learned in electrical wiring, carpentry and scenic artistry that are missing today because of all the time children spend sitting in front of a computer screen.
