zw wiring?
Posted by charlie train guy on Thursday, October 2, 2008 9:51 PM

Hi folks,

If I run 2 loops of track, a small yard, and accesories off posts a,b,c,and d , do I have to run a seperate common feed, or can I use the same wire [12 ga.] for all?

      thanks, Chuckles

You can use the same wire wherever that is convenient.  From a safety point of view, 14 AWG would be big enough for that 15-ampere transformer; but bigger wire is all to the good.
