Z-Stuff

Hi All, plan on using Z-Stuff dwaft signals on my layout, my track system is K-Line Super Snap.

Anybody out there have these signals? Easy to install?

Hello Insfil:

I do not have the dwarf signals but I do have the DZ-1060 signals on my layout:

My only complaint is that since I used 2" foam on top of my deck, the short wire leads from the signals were difficult to connect since there was not much slack.  However, once connected, the signals work great.  The sensor is very accurate.

I use the dwarf signals to trigger a pair of flashing cross bucks, Lionel's.  Other than that they require a DZ relay they've worked great.  I also have a couple of their LQ semiphores which also work great though one is a bit more sensitive to the car/truck color, I haven't bothered to fool with the sensitivity yet.

I have two of the drawf signals and they were very easy to install. Long lead lengths on these. It took about 2 months to get them though and I am still waiting for the flashing cross bucks. Very slow delivery....................
