Tonight (Tues. morning) 1:00 am Pacific, for all you night owls who have satellite, RFD TV (ch. 231 on Dish Network) has "4449 Return to Freedom" listed to air on "Trains and Locomotives."

Scott,

What does RFD stand for?  Must go find it if Comcast Cable offers it and what the channel number is, then I will find out it's in the next service level up that I don't have.

Anyone know?

RFD stands for Rural Free Delivery, i.e., it's a postal term for mail to outlying (farm) areas.  The channel, seen mostly on satellite services, caters to the rural audience, with live cattle auctions, rodeo shows, and . . . train shows.  Go figure.

I used to enjoy it on Directv, but lost it when I went to Cablevision.

I used to get RFD on Directv but went to Comcast(total ripoff's @ Concast), will go back to Directv when either my income is better or September comes around. If it is possible Comcast is worse than Adelphia cable service!

RFD might be between channels 101 & 300 on Concast.

after a couple years of my Dad telling me about RFD, we finally got Direct TV last week (because the wife wanted Animal Planet). I've got Trains and I Love Toy Trains set to record. Watched 261 run last week. great shows.
