My uncle, he's in his mid 80's, has vaguely described an American Flyer O gauge set he purchased in 1939.
He says the engine was a streamlined steam locomotive with freight cars. This along with the post war Lionel he had was sold in the early 60's Can anyone help me find a picture of this set?

There was an O gauge version of the 350 Royal Blue I can't remember the number, but the shell and tender were the same casting as a 350, but it was O and ran on three rail track, and the set came with frieght cars

The Royal Blue in O gauge was numbered 556, but it only showed up in the 1940 and 1941 catalog. Unfortunately my catalog collection doesn't contain the 1939 edition. If someone has it and can look it up I might be able to give some more information.
There is a 417 that is based on the the PRR Broadway limited and is a streamliner as well. It is grey and has a 2-4-4 wheel arrangement. It was available in a freight set that year. Can you provide anymore information about his trains and the cars that he had with the engine?

If the set was the 1939 set it would have been this - Set No. 304
Any chance this is the one you remember?
Thank you,
I'll print this and show it to my uncle.
