Why was that thread locked? To avoid arguments?

I don't know...I think that may be the reason why. Im just sick of these "train wars" that are constantly going on. I can even see the companies fighting eachother (although I rather them not) but when people on all these train forums go nuts over how one is better than the other it's too much. Those arguements can get nastier than pro-life vs pro-choice.
Thats why I just stay with postwar trains. Great American made products with a lot of history. No arguements around these trains, just great memories. Just look at the great stories on all those Christmas threads. Hope everyone has a great holiday!

Any body have any more information as to what is going on?
It's related to the original case, Korean Brass didn't appeal but transfered assets to MKT. MTH got a TRO on those funds and the case goes for arguments on January 10th, 2008.
If the Judge agrees with MTH the money is either a part or whole payment of the judgement against Korean Brass/KMT.
It really has nothing to do directly with Lionel or Williams as Clyde stated. But they may need to persue Korean Brass to fill whatever contract those funds were for.
I did not realize the thread I had started had been locked. I asked the question to find out what was going on because I did not understand the original story as I saw it posted. I still don't understand what is going on!!!
