Bigboy and Legacy command set
Posted by Train Memories on Friday, December 7, 2007 10:46 AM
For those who have received the new Bigboy engine, did they come with the new Legacy command set? Because Lionel says the command set will not be shipped untill later this month. I myself am waiting for the grey UP FEF-3 Northern. Anybody know when it will be release?

The rumor is by Christmas. As rumors go the dark side is only enough for Big Boy buyers on this trip. Some folks already got their plug in memory modules.

I just read on OGR's forum that Legacy has shipped to LHS for people who ordered the Big Boy. One guy already has his in hand. They are on their way.

I'm glad Lionel has gotten the first shipment out. I've seen a picture of the handset sitting next to the DCS handset. The Legacy handset Is a LOT bigger than the DCS one-- I'd have a hard time holding it with my small hands-- My DCS handset is just the perfect size for my hands.

Enjoy your new control system, gents!!
